why is verizon so unreliable

why is verizon so unreliable? calls get dropped all the time and they refuse to balance basic phones! it has been 2-3 weeks now since they have balanced anything! even when I added $50 they refuse to balance how worthless can they get? I would NEVER refer this company to anyone!!!!!
