Just starting out on this..... I have several icons for the same app on my home screen; don't know how I got them there and I can't seem to delete them by using the "hilight and drag to trash can" feature. Please help. Thanks

Have you tried going to Settings, then Applications, then Manage Applications, then clicking on the apps in question and uninstalling them?. If they all go away but you want the app back on, then install it again.

You are not supposed to only highlight the apps. You are supposed to hold your finger down on the app and then drag it with your finger into the trash can.
