Update Android Market app?

I have 3 Fascinates and all are working fine ( with exception of GPS issue which all 3 have. Won't lock or takes

over 10 minutes.)

Anyway, about 2 weeks ago, 2 of the 3 seemed to automatically get the new Android Market app.

The third one did not and still has not.

How do I manually update the 'Market' app that came with the phone?

It should eventually be loaded on to the phone.

You can try clearing the cache and data for the market app as well force closing it at point. That might force the application to download the newest version. Go into settings > applications > manage applications > scroll down to the Market application and select it.

OK..Tried clearing cache and data...Waited...no update.

Turned phone off..then on...

Tried starting market ..then hitting home...then setting phone down and leaving alone.

Did this 3 times now allowing it to go untouched for at least 30 minutes each time.

Market just doesnt seem to want to update itself.

Any other ideas that may get 'Market' to update itself?

Try these steps below:

Power the device off, then back on, then dial *228 send and option 2 on the device.

From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch About Phone
Touch System Updates

Step 1. From the Home screen, select Applications then choose Market.

Step 2. Browse for items to install or upgrade downloads.

Give it a day or two after you had cleared the data and cache and force closed the Market app.

You might be able to manually update it. See this link.
