I just ordered My droid X on the 15th but i havent get an email from Verizon yet...also i seem cannot check my order status because it said they doesnt have my order
I have heard a few times of people ordering the phone, but getting no correspondence about it until they received a note from Fedex saying that the phone was being shipped.

Yeah, I've heard that too. Did you at least get your order confirmation email? If you paid on a credit card for the phone you should at least get that confirmation.
My order number and tracking info wasnt available for a while and then the order number i did get was completely different than what the CS rep had on file.
Call CS and have them track the order using your name and whatever other info they need besides order number.
