Help! Recently wallpaper was replaced with start auto launcher. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Have a moto X. Only changes are the regular updates. The screen is now
always green with Launch Android Auto across the bottom.

Did you happen to download the Android Auto app recently?
I know I like to have my phone set up just the way I like it and that definitely includes wallpaper. Do you receive an error when you attempt to change the wallpaper? Steps here:
From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > Display . Tap Wallpaper. Select one of the following: Gallery. ... Select the desired wallpaper image then select Set wallpaper (located at the bottom).
