Calls cutting out with Galaxy Edge

My galaxy S7 edge cuts out during phone calls. It doesn't matter where I am or if I am moving or not. Suddenly the person on the other end will say they can't hear me. I check to be sure I haven't accidentally hit the mute button, but it's never on. Even if we hang up and call back it continues to cut out. It's very frustrating. Is there an upgrade I need? What's going on?

Being able to be heard and hear is an important part of the wireless service, let’s restore this function to your device AHEN579! When did this issue begin or that you first started noticing? What zip code are you located in? Does this happen with all contacts or a few select numbers?

I had the very same issue with my Note 7. I went to a Verizon store, the associate checked the settings and mentioned the "Network Mode" was in Global. The associate changed that setting to LTE/CDMA. So far, so good.
