I have been having this problem for a few months. When I have added a shortcut on the homescreen for contacts i dial/text often it will work for a small amount of time then poof - I try and it tells me contact not found. I then go to my contacts look up the person and the picture is gone and sometimes the numbers/emails are gone too.
