Add Ringtones & Notifications to SD Card????

So i want to add ringtones and notifaction tones to my new SD card but there aren't folders already created for them on there after I put it into my DINC and formatted it. So I loaded the files right onto the SDcard without being in a folder -- but the DINC doesn't "see" them for ringtone use OR notification use...

 

Help???

 

Do I need to make a "ringtones" and "notifications" folder and will  that solve the problem????

using an app would be the easiest way. i have a folder called "media" on my sd card. inside of it is a folder called audio. inside of that are 3 more folders called notifications, ringtones, mms.  now i'm not sure if they were created when i formatted the sd card or if one of the apps i use created them??? i use zedge and ringdroid (love them both).
