Can I Still Use A device After I Cancel The Line it is on?

I have a Note 4 that is almost paid in full. I only use this phone for my granddaughter to play games on and never use it anymore for phone calls, texts, etc. When I pay it off, can I remove this line and still access games, videos, etc for her by connecting to wifi through my Verizon Jetpack?

Yes, the phone will work via wi-fi for things like games and internet if you remove the line from VzW service.  I'd suggest removing the SIM card to be on the safe side once the line is removed from service.
