I am able to recieve text messages, but when I send a text message it is either blank or they don't get it all. This just started to happen about a week ago

Need help with​ text messages, when I send a message the recipient either doesn't get it or it is blank

Help has arrived! I know that I rely on texting sometimes more than calls these days, so I would be lost if people we’re receiving my messages. Are you using the Verizon Messages app (red icon) or the stock app that came with the phone? Does this happen with every single text that you send or does it just happen randomly?
