Email Feed for Galaxy S7 Edge

I use the Microsoft Outlook app for my email application. I can't get it to work in the feed notifications on my S7 Edge. I can get my weather app, my Verizon Messaging app, missed calls and news to show up but not the emails. Can anyone help?

have you setup outlook to sync emails in settings/accounts/email??

Yes, I send and receive email through my phone all day and have since I got the phone 2 weeks ago.
