The last update deleted 5 months worth of pictures from my gallery. How do i fix this???

Oh no, we never want to hear about pictures that disappear! An update is supposed to enhance your device, not hinder it. I’m here to help as best as I can. Have you ever backed up your phone with Verizon Cloud? If so, you can use this link http://vz.to/2oyHxfF to restore the pictures back to your phone gallery. Ann154, has pointed out another way that your pictures may be backed up.

Do you have Google Photos backup your pictures or use that application? There is a setting in that application to delete the local copy of the photo if it is backed up to the Google online account.
