Microphone on speaker phone Moto Play z droid - voice cuts in & out for listener

I have had several complaints from listeners/receivers that my voice cuts in and out on speaker phone on Moto Play Z droid. I make sure I am speaking directly at the microphone and it seems the listener cannot hear me or there is static on the receivers/listeners end. It seems I must be within a foot of the microphone with my mouth then if it gets to be 2-3 feet, all bets are off. I make sure I am in a quiet environment when using the speaker phone.

Does anyone have any ideas??

dgirard, if you are like me I'm always using my hands free speaker. It comes in handy when you are busy. Let's figure out what is going on and fix it. When did this start? Have you recently updated software or added any new apps? What is your zip code?

My zip is 57745. the firmware is up to date. I have cleaned the mic to ensure there is no dirt in it. It has been intermittent since day one. I have been adding and subtracting apps.

I don't know anything about twitter.
