How can I improve signal reception on my S7 for data and phone?

I'm having the same issue. I went into Verizon and they gave me a new sim card. That didn't work. Then they completely reset my phone. That didn't work. No I just got my new replacement phone and its still having the same issues. My boyfriend has Droid on Verizon and I often don't have service where he does. It's frustrating. Why am I paying this much money for a phone and services that don't even work. I had similar problems at Sprint which is why I switched to Verizon but now it is much worse. I constantly have to turn my data and wifi on and off to get service.
