Marshmallow update

knew I shouldn't have done the update but I did it anyway since then my note 4 phone has been freezing up and I am no longer receiving notifications of any kind , email or app . I have cleared my cache , updated apps, turned off my phone , restarted it . Idk what else to try. It is very frustrating. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
