Passoword Not Working

My password is not working. I used my phone this morning and was able to access through my password. Now it won't work, and I have had 9 tries, it says if I do it one more time and fail, my phone will be reset to factory settings and I don't want to lose everything. What do I do?

However, do you remember your Gmail e-mail address and password that the phone was set up with? http://bit.ly/1nuNh8T If so, you will be able to restore your phone after it resets with those credentials.
