Contact phone numbers listed twice

When I look in my contacts, I see one number and one name for my contacts.  When I go to create a text in the Verizon text app, I see the contacts names and numbers duplicated.

How do I clean this up?  This is a deal breaker, if I can't fix it, the Verizon text app is worthless to me and will be deleted.

In the mean time, delete/disable the Verizon Message+ application, then power your phone off/on, install the application again and make it your default messaging application and test.
