Bluetooth disables phone audio until reboot

If I use Bluetooth on the phone, for example connecting to BT headset at gym, then turn off BT the audio for all other apps and functions on the phone is gone. All devices unpaired. If I restart the phone it returns. Driving mode is not on with the BT.

Sorry I forgot the basic info! Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Its been behaving this way sinc eI first got it last month.

Thanks for those details a_gunslinger. We won't give up until your bluetooth is working as it should. Is there any physical or liquid damage to the device? Were there any recent changes to the phone, like a software update or new apps?
