My new S7 won't allow upgrade app for phone to phone transfer. old phone, S5 has the upgrade.
Are you referring to the Samsung Smart Switch app? If so, it should be natively built into the S7; you shouldn't need an app for it. On the S7, just go to Settings > Backup and Reset > Smart Switch. Let me know if I misunderstood the question.
