It's been 2 days. I receive text, and I can call out. But no incoming calls. And I've gotten numerous texts saying they tried to call.
Being able to receive calls on your wireless phone is imperative, Amy.M.77. Help has arrived! What happens when someone attempts calling your number? Is the calling party able to leave a voice-mail?

Same issue. I transferred my old land line # to my new Verizon smartphone acct. The conversion is complete .... EXCEPT that I don't get calls; I can only make calls. Is this a "conversion" timing issue with my previous (being cancelled) landline provider?
When people call me now, the call still goes to my house, not to my cell phone.
CHRKUR2016 We are happy to learn you transferred your landline over. If you received a notice that the port-in is complete, you should power cycle the phone (on/off). This will allow the phone to reset and you should receive calls. Please keep us posted.

DoloresK_VZW - Actually, I think it was just a timing issue. The conversion from my old land line company was not complete, so I was able to use my smart phone for outgoing calls, texts, emails etc, but this morning (Monday) I turned on the phone and tested it and finally incoming calls were working, too. So it's all working.
Thanks
