Can not open attachments on my pop3 comcast account. see a button for "view attachment" tap it and just get a different box with the attachment in it but cannot open them.

Someone else must have had this had this issue besides me. Is there some app thay I need to install in order to open attachments to email messages. I have not tried to attach a file to gmail yet but will later. The problem has been with my comcast account.I get the emails with the attachment tap the view attachment button , get nothing.
Maybe quickoffice mobile???
