Major Phone issues...lost all contacts, system does not recognize apps...

K so here's the deal, never done any sort of modifying to my phone. Really just used it to call epople and text. Nothing more...

Today my phone died becauseit ran out of batteries. Well, as soon as i powered it up it kept saying Swiftkey has an error. Ok, I turn swiftkey off. I then goto my contacts. THEY ARE ALL GONE besides one person. I was liek {word filter avoidance}, and I goto my messages and it's all numbers, no contact names. So I text my buddy(who's name is in numbers), and after I text him the phone recognized his name...even though he's not in my contacts. My phone currently shows I have 0 contacts.

Also, went to the marketplace. Marketplace said I have never dled any apps....when I have already 10 currently saved to my phone.

Went to my browser....said I never went to any sites when I went to like 10 today.

Basically, it RESET itself, but I still have my custom background, my password upon entry, all my apps which don't function right at all.... etc....{word filter avoidance}

ANY IDEA what happened? I'm really frustrated right now, I need to get my contacts back!

Lets try this do a battery pull when the battery is out of ur device hold down the power button for 20 sec. reinstall the battery fire her up tell me what she does when its on see if contacts r back.

nope...just did what you said. Contacts are still gone, but my phone recognizes my apps now...in the marketplae. But when I turn them on, like handcent, it still pops up the screen that pops up when u first install the app...every time u use the app. Alot of them are still bugged.

History for my browser is still gone too.

ok next we'll try this do a *228 send thats what u want to do a prl update or update ur phone when u get the msg do option 1 that will reprogram ur phone this ok when its done doing the update it will shut off then come back on it own. after it on for a few min. see what happens see if that fixet for ya.

Did doing the reprogram help you may also have a app thats causing the issue the only way U can tell if its the apps are the problem is u'll have to uninstall each app at time then shut down the device an see if corrects the problem if u have any task killers remove them as they'll cause havoc.

Late Last night I had an issue where I had instead of icons for two apps the message, (Errors with gadgets) I went into my market then My Apps, it showed I had not downloaded any apps either. I freaked, but Luckily they are still there when I clicked the up arrow key left of the phone button on the main screen.

This occurred around 10-10:30.

I still show I have not downlaoded any apps, but all my apps are there. But I am going to take time today to record what I have on each screen......and do some general backup housekeeping.....JUST IN CASE.

when i went into the market then clicked on menu then my apps its showing all my apps an that there installed wonder whats going on!
