I updated my phone to Android 7 nougat. Now on Verizon messages under the contact names when I pull them up there is what looks like Thai language lettering
. Anybody else have this? Can I remove it?

I am having the same problem and I'm using a Droid Turbo 2, a verizon exclusive phone, so changing phones isn't an option, unfortunately.
