Weird issue sending texts to an iPhone

I have a Pixel and my wife has an iPhone. For the past two days I can only send her texts if there is a picture part of the message. If it is only text then it doesn't go through. The problem is only with her phone; I am able to send texts (without pictures) to other iPhones. Any thoughts? We have both reset our phones multiple times.
