Hello, I just bought a s8 and wanted to know if I could use it as a tv remote?
Sanfar29, being able to use your smartphone as a TV remote is a pretty neat feature. The Samsung Galaxy S8 does not have the IR (Infra Red) hardware. But, there are third-party applications in the Google Play Store that would allow you use the device WiFi to discover and control devices. I hope this is helpful information.
