Group messages not receiving on Iphone in a Iphone-Android group chat

I have this group chat for my football team, it has both Apple and Android phones in it, so all the messages are green in it. I stopped receiving messages from the group chat about a week ago, even though I was not removed from the group and there were messages being sent. What was weird was that I could still send messages to the group chat and everybody would see them, but I couldn't receive any of the messages that were being sent by the other people. Another weird thing that happened was that when I clicked on the group photo at the top and scrolled down, where it would normally say "Leave this conversation" it says "Delete and Block this Conversation". Someone please help with this, I need this group chat for important information.

We're sorry for the issues you're having with your group messages. Please make sure that you have enabled MMS messaging and group messaging on your phone. Open the Settings app, tap on Messages, and make sure both MMS Messaging and Group Messaging are turned on. In the same Messages settings, ensure that Send as SMS is enabled. This acts as a fallback if iMessage or RCS (for Android) doesn't work.

I don't know if that's because iMessage needs to be updated, some other software or your carrier settings need to be updated, or possibly SMS/MMS was shut off. Is your iPhone running the latest iOS version, or has Apple stopped giving the iPhone 13 the latest OS? If you're not running the latest OS, the problem with texting Android users is likely due to the newer RCS format being used by modern texting apps. RCS wasn't supported by Apple until the newest OS.

I updated my phone to the latest version, 18.6.2 because it was one of the suggestions Google gave me when I searched up this problem. It didn't help. I also checked to make sure that RCS and MMS are turned on in settings and also tried toggling them on and off as well as iMessage on and off. Nothing helped

I can only send and receive sms texts from android users , not mms or rcs. It was working fine a week ago. All settings are correct and have restarted my iPhone 16 pro max running 18.6.2 numerous times. What’s up?
