Believe those are gained by a user's engagement in the community and can be showcased by different rank levels. Hopefully, one of the admins will chime in here and provide guidance.

Great question! To add to Fdbk's comment, members can earn points by:

* answering questions 
* having their answer to a question marked as accepted
* receiving positive reactions on posts they've authored
* earning badges
