My wife & I both have Droid II phones. After the recent software update, our phones turn themselves back on as many from 1 up to 3 times after shutting them down. We have contacted tech support and to my amazement have not helped us or indentified the problem. So much for getting HELP. Real pain when you're in an important meeting and the phones need to go off and you can't count on it. In this situation, I have had to remove the battery.
Hard reset has not fixed the problem: Tech support said that was pretty much it. So well, are we all stuck with alien software, or just bad support?
In looking through the forums, this is happening with other Droid models as well. So I repeat , is this the best Verizon can do for their customers?
