Static when playing music is never good, Dizsneyland. Since it is not happening on other applications it may be your music application. What application are you using to listen to music? Have you tried a different music app?Hav e you tried connecting it to Bluetooth?

It started the first day I got the phone & activated. Which I believe was Sat. The static sound is thru the speakers & headphones
Mine new S7 Edge did it one day and nothing but crackling was coming out of the speaker. I restarted the phone and it has not occurred since. I think mine was due to a application I was running.
Oh ok. Im gonna try to restart my phone now.
Did we ever get a fix to this or do we need to change out phones yet again? I would have much rather stayed with my note 7 I never had any issues but since I was forced to downgrade and now I'm experiencing this I'm am just about done with samsung!
