Poor coverage

Paying4badcoverage

I live in San Diego and my daily drive has 3 consistent dead spots. I finally can’t take it anymore so I wanted to bring this to the attention of Verizon. The locations are I-15 freeway near the 163 & 15 merge.
Also Pomerado Road east of the I-15 freeway.
Lastly Stonebridge Parkway.

Daily to and from work I have to experience these poor coverage spots. Why can’t we have good coverage even in a main artery on the freeway in San Diego?
This has been going on for 5 years since I lived in this area.
Please fix this!

Oh, no! We are truly sorry to see you in this poor coverage dilemma. We know the importance of having a reliable network. Verizon wants to offer the support you need.

Let's gather more data. What exactly happens when you attempt to use the service (in these dead spots)? When did the issue start (did it ever work)? What recent changes have you made? Who else is experiencing this problem?

The locations are the same when I drive through them. I’ve experienced this trouble for the past 5 years on my daily drive to and from work. I’ve had different phones over that time and I know this is a network issue not my phone. My wife’s coverage experiences the same trouble.

The 3 areas I reported to your technical support.

This is affecting thousands and even tens of thousands of Verizon customers.

Again these areas are in San Diego dense populated areas as in the Interstate where thousands of Verizon users traverse this freeway.

Please confirm and fix these network issues.

First step is send one of your field/cell tower techs to verify LTE signal levels in the areas I identified. Then you will see the facts on signal strength and make adjustments or add new towers to overcome these DEAD spots.

We're sorry to read about the issues with service during your commute and we're here to help. Is there any signal showing on the device in these areas? ~Peter

If there's been some previous tickets filed on those specific areas on your account, that's something we can look at. As part of that, going to send a Private Message so we can look at things in greater detail.
