Hi, over the past year + my data in our town as been mostly unusable. Voice works fine but I ca not sent text that have images or browse the internet. It is mostly LTE on my phone with 3+ bars and occasionally it switches to 5G which sometimes helps but often times does not make a difference.
I live 5 min outside of town and everything works fine at my house. I have a co workers who have the same problem and we all use different phones. (Brand new iPhone, android, iPhone 13, etc.)

nate210, We understand how important it is to have reliable service and we are concerned to learn you have been experiencing issues for some time now. You shared that this experience is with everyone in that area, but at home your services are fine. Can you share any changes that may have taken place in your town within the past year that could impact service? (Terrain, buildings, etc.) Are the service issues everywhere in your town or only inside buildings? Any additional information you can provide will help us to better understand your experience.

Thanks for the reply, nothing has changed in our town. It happens anytime I am driving through, outside, or in a coffee shop / office building. It is all over in the downtown Niles, MI area that I experience the issues. I talked to someone at our Verizon store and they told me I needed a new phone but since others experience the same issues with various models that is hard to believe.

I'm willing to bet that the network hasn't been upgraded as much recently in your ZIP code as in other areas. With so many "smart" devices all competing for space on cell phone towers now, the towers where you are are simply getting bogged down constantly. Verizon is probably aware of the problem, but who knows when you'll get more towers or more 5G.
Have you contacted your local elected officials to make sure there isn't some red tape interfering with getting more cell phone towers put up? You can also ask around and see if another provider works better. If all carriers are about the same, you and your coworkers will have to use WiFi for the time being to get decent data speeds while at work.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
