Just wasted 20 minutes chatting with support because over a month after turning up 5G Home Internet and getting the email instructions, the link still doesn’t show up in the app. Support says the link will show up 60 days after signing up but the offer says you have to claim it within 60 days. It’s almost like they don’t want you to be able to claim it. When I pointed that out, the support person said I can always cancel if I don’t like it. Wow, way to treat a 25 year customer with 4 mobiles.

After the PM and going back and forth with the above CS rep, all they could say was wait 4-6 weeks. If I do that, I bet they will say I waited too long and the offer has expired.

I tried chatting to customer service twice already. Waited until the 13th when they said there was a solution to customers not getting the redemption email for the $200 Amazon gift card
Then again today the 16th, he said it'll be 60 days. When I said the deal ends 1-17 he said I'll get it soon

I have called and chatted dozens of times with Verizon employees directly, but there is still no way for me to receive a gift card. I saw a pop-up in an ad on Verizon's official website offering currently. Your employees keep saying nonsense: If you get an Xbox, you don't get anything else. Please hand it over immediately.

I’ve also pointed that out to customer service agents, that if I have to wait 8 weeks I will have surpassed the amount of time I’m supposed to have redeemed my offer. They have nothing to say except “you’ll receive your offer as soon as possible” or “we’re very sorry you’re experiencing this issue.” I filed a complaint about verizon with the FTC. I urge all of you to do the same. They won’t resolve individual complaints but if enough people file they will look into verizon for making offers like this.

And now I just received a private message, but when I tried to reply to it I was told “you’ve responded to the number of private messages you can for now. Try again later.” 😂😂 Omg this company. So Joe from customer service, here is your response to “let’s see if we can escalate this.”
Joe, it’s been escalated and I keep getting the same unsatisfactory responses. No one knows anything, or it’ll be 30 days, or it’ll be 6 weeks, or my very favorite was the girl who swore I’d have it in 24 hours. This morning I was charged almost $189 for cell phone service that I’m not even using as both cell devices are in the process of being returned to verizon (actually you’ve already received one and my daughter is just waiting on the shipping label you mailed her to return the other). And no she cannot print it herself or she already would have. So trust me when I say I have had. it. With this company. The only reason I don’t cancel my lte is because you promised me this $200 gift card and I could really use it.
