Struggle to get Xbox x promotion is officially ended. I got my XBOX X  as part of promotional offer just before redemption period of 60 days about to end on Feb 28.
Thanks to a wise representative who listened to my struggles, went extra mile to look into my account from start till end, discussed with supervisor, called back and placed order for me. God bless that man, hats off to his customer obsession and help.

Before this - I called, chatted n number of times. Got conflicting answers from customer care representatives. Lot of struggle, lot of false promises. But at the end you just need one wise person to understand the issue and solve it for you. 
@verizon customer care - you need lot of improvement. 

@Other customers who are still waiting for Amazon gift card or XBOX promotion, please talk to customer care until your issue is resolved. my issue is solved just before I was about to mail my official complaint to Verizon office (address given to me by one of representatives).

This is my story before wise man helped me to get my XBOx promotion -

“I am new to Verizon. When I went to trade in devices to Verizon shop nearby my house, representative told me that my home qualifies for 5G Home. She told that there is 200$ Amazon gift card as well. I know there were more deals, so I searched and told her that there are more deals online, Amazon 200 gift card/echo 10, XBox series S and Verizon 100$ card. She said whatever is there online, you will get it. If you don’t like the 5g home, the. You can return in 30 days without any cost.

I took the device with 5g home plus plan, installed it. But I didn’t see any tile on my app to redeem Amazon gift card or Xbox series X or Verizon gift card, so I went back to shop, asked the same lady. When she checked she said sorry that was online only offer and nothing can be done now. 
If she could have told me when I got device that these are online only offers, then it could have been easy and I could have done that. But she said whatever you see online, you will get in store too. I was frustrated and felt like misguided just to sell 5G home.
Then I contacted customer care, explained them how it happened and what can be done. He explained offline process for redemption, he shared me process to redeem Verizon gift card, Amazon gift card. He was about to tell me Xbox redemption, he noticed that this was store purchase and can’t do anything. He told me as this is in 30 days money back guarantee I can return this and order a new one. He said let me place a online order for you and this will make sure you will get current promotion (I.e. Amazon 200$ gift card/echo 10 and XBox X), I told him due to misinformation I’m missing my Verizon 100$ promotion, he said he can’t do anything about that.
Based on his information and promise to give me current promotion, I said yes and he placed online order for me. He told me that once you install the devices, you will see tiles on your Verizon app to redeem both Amazon and Xbox X promotions. But it didn’t happen. 
Later I called/chatted customer care n number of times, each time I was give false promise that my issue will be resolved and most of the time information was contradictory with previous representatives.
There is one escalation rejected saying conditions are not met. But it was online purchase and done as per your representative told me to do and assured me that you will get promotion by doing it from his side. 
I don’t know what’s going on. Later one of the representatives called after raising 2nd escalation, he told that we get the issue you are facing, I’m sorry. I’m going to order one XBOx X for you, you don’t need to pay anything, you will get details to track order in couple of hours. That never happened. 
On 2/15, I called to check what happened with 2nd escalation, lady submitted 3rd escalation and asked me to wait for 5 business days.
I wanted to file official complaint about the misguided information from store/chat representatives/customer care representatives, mental torture and not fulfilling the promises and promotions. But at  end, that wise customer care representative came to
my rescue and helped me get my Xbox x which was promised as per promotional offer“
