My question is, is Verizon using its promotional deal to get new vulnerable customers and their hard-earned money without keeping to its promise? 

I am still waiting for my Amazon $200 gift card after 2months, with several attempts to redeem it failing.

Hi Danad-2005. We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with your promotion. I want to make sure we're aligned with where you are in the process. Has it ever been successfully redeemed or trying to redeem it again failed? What happens when you try to redeem it if it's still there? Have we opened any tickets on your behalf?

I have not been able to redeem it, it shouldn't be difficult to redeem, they say I will get a link e-mail to redeem, but the email never comes.

I am also having the same problem. We switched to Verizon in November, and we have had nothing but problems ever since. I called in December to verify if there was something else I needed to do to receive them. I was given codes to put in for them, and received two confirmation numbers. The woman then told me I would receive an email within the week and I would go from there. I never received an email. I then called back, talked to another representative. They told me I wasn't on the right plan that their representatives put me,  so I upgraded to the unlimited plus. The representative told me I had to be on the plan for 30 days in order to qualify. I told them that that is not fair being that their representatives are the one who set everything up for me. He told me I would hear back from him within the week and that he would get it pushed forward and it has now been a month again and still nothing. I have had nothing but problems from Verizon from the very start. My bill is inaccurate. I have add-ons that I've never added on. I also have a trade-in that is on the wrong phone line. I have the device protection plan that is on the wrong line. This is by far been the worst phone company I've ever went through.
