Suffolk county Huntington ny phone network is getting worse day by day. Please do something unless have no choice to switch other carriers

Hi, sorry to hear your service has degraded over time.  There are many causes for service issues; sometimes it's the network, and sometimes it's your phone.  If you could give the ZIP code (not the full address, just ZIP code) where the problem is happening, and also the make/model of your phone, that can help others do a little troubleshooting.

But just a short list of things that can impact service:

  • older or no longer supported phone
  • outdated SIM card (if 5G or 5G UW was brought in later and your card isn't configured for 5G or 5G UW)
  • hardware issues on phone
  • network congestion
  • deprioritization on towers based upon service plan
  • network outages (there have been several in the areas I live/work recently)
  • new construction in area causing more interference and blocking reception
