Was in Boston for a Celtics game had plenty of 5guw signal but I could not pull more than 5 meg down and upload would timeout. The phone is nearly unusable. This is a 15 PM on current software and my sons 14 plus has no problem at all. When I first activated this account it was a nightmare and they ended up getting it to work but ever since itโs been slow both on the 14PM and this new phone. Itโs an unlocked phone direct from Apple and the T-Mobile sim I have on the second eSIM is blazing fast. I know itโs not the phone but every time I try to resolve this I get pushed to get the new plan. I dread this as a former employee of 30 years I know all too well the nightmare of the systems if I do swap getting the Apple one to work correctly again and Iโll more than likely lose my iCloud+ again. Is my one unlimited throttled because I havenโt read anything that says the plan I have is like the new GO plans.
thanks in advance,
Jay

The last thing we ever want is for you to have problems with your phone service, and we're going to do everything we can to help you. If you're comfortable with your plan, we don't want to force that on you, but we do want to do some troubleshooting. Please click this link: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/#mobile and find your phone. After finding it, please click on "Troubleshoot" and find the issue that most closely matches what you're experiencing. I recommend the "Can't connect to the internet" one. Please let us know if this troubleshooting helps. This'll also be logged into your account if you log in, so we won't have to repeat any troubleshooting.

I can't speak for why your 5G UW service is that slow (that's not true 5G UW service, sounds like the phone is running in some weird way like it's trying to fake that it has 5G of some sort when it doesn't?), but I'd beware of those hyper-fast speeds your Pink Logo Place eSIM is giving you. I'm guessing you're doing the 90 day free trial of their network. In my experience they give you great speeds during the trial, but if you actually sign up, may or may not be the same thing. I had a similar experience when I trialed them with the free hotspot thing, but getting the real service on my phone was nothing like it.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
