Network issues

I just upgraded my phone and plan to the ultimate  unlimited. My service is terrible! Sos comes up, phone calls are dropping. I don’t know what is going on. I have taken the phone to the Verizon store three times. They do little “fixes” but then I get home and I have the same issues. I have had Verizon for years but I don’t know what is going on with their service. Any thoughts, fixes, same problem?
