Verizon Network Down

For weeks the Verizon network has been completely down nationwide. Leading to me not being able to make or receive phone calls, text messages, and data without connecting to my external Xfinity WiFi network. Verizon keeps refusing to resolve this nationwide issue, and contact me via email about this issue. So I contacted the FCC.

Well, that doesn't appear to be the case, except maybe for you.  AND, don't (Xfinity) WiFi calls get routed from/to Verizon users to the Verizon Wireless network (which must be working if your WiFi calls go thru).

If there was a large outage, more users would be reporting/complaining on the Downdetector website:

Did you even look at the website you linked to? Literally all it has is complaints from these past weeks of customers across the entire country complaining about how the network has been down for weeks. Literally proving my point about the nationwide outage.

I haven't been having any outages.  Does the OP have a Samsung S22?  Because there are big discussions elsewhere about these phones just up and quitting on mobile data service completely, and it's not a carrier issue, but a hardware problem.

Google Pixel 7 Pro, and this nationwide outage (if you looked at DownDetector & other websites) affects iOS devices (iPads & iPhones) & FiOS (Verizon's home 5G Internet service) along with Android devices.  It even spans from Maine to California & everywhere in-between.

There are some huge discussions in these forums and elsewhere about Pixel 7 phones being broken after the Android 14 update.  It's not a Verizon issue as people using the other carriers are also reporting problems.

If you are referring to the comments section on Downdetector, yes, those are coming from all different locations, but it's just one or a few people per location reporting an issue when I glanced at the website just now.  If there were truly an outage, the most recent comments would all be coming from one place, or else the top of the page would say there's an outage based upon the reports going over a baseline trigger point.

How do you explain it affecting iPhones, and iPads then? Hmmm?

andrewbean90, we're not currently aware of a nationwide outage, but we want to get to the bottom of the issues you're having with your service. To start off, we recommend troubleshooting using this link: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/ Find your device, and select the issue that most closely matches the problems you're having with your service. Make sure you sign into your My Verizon account so the troubleshooting is recorded. We look forward to hearing back from you.

I have had 3 different phones in the last 6 months.  There are so many dead spots around me I can't talk long to any one.  This isn't my phone it's the network in my area.   Verizon in western ky used to be great now I'm not sure if I'll keep it.

Thank you so much for bringing your service concerns to our attention. It sounds like you have already been through a lot of troubleshooting with all those phone changes. I value your time and want to make sure every option has been looked into. Do you know if you have ever opened a network ticket to investigate the area?

I have done that multiple times, and no response or fix to it yet. I doubt their experience is going to be any different than mine.
