Hello,
Earlier today, I called my regular voicemail using *86 and was told that I had 3 new messages and 9 saved messages. I listened to one of the three new messages and disconnected the call.
About 10 minutes later, when I had my recorder ready to make a copy of the messages, I called my voicemail again and the prompt told me that I had no new messages.
Using another phone, I purpose left myself a voicemail. When I called my voicemail again, I was able to listen to my new message, but there were no other messages.
How can I recover these old messages? They were definitely older than 21 days, but all of the saved messages were still in the system. Also, I told the system to save the new message that I listened to earlier today (for the first time). At the very least, shouldn't it be available as a saved message?
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

The website says you can have up to 20 messages in the *86 voicemails, so not sure why you lost all of them. There may be a way for someone with Verizon to recover the voicemails, if it only just happened within the last 24 hours. Try using either live chat on your account (type "live agent" to get to a real person), or send a private message to @vzw_customer_support here in the forums and hopefully your PM envelope will light up in time.
For archiving voicemails, the website has references to some 3rd party service which does this, but I don't know if that particular company is still available. You may want to use a search engine to see if there is more updated information elsewhere on the internet.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Hello Mjwhite31. I totally get how important saved voicemails are! I am sending you a private message so we can get into more details to figure out where the saved message could be.
