Weak signal in my neighborhood

My neighborhood is a dead zone. It has been this way for 6 months to a year. I have determined that the boundaries of the dead zone extends 3-4 city blocks in all directions. I have spoken with Verizon field engineers to no avail. I went to the Verizon store today, only to leave frustrated. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I think I am forced to switch carriers as Verizon has not been responsive.
