I recently got a new unlocked phone and physically moved the SIM over (Samsung to another Samsung, accounts and settings all transferred). Service seems to function, except when I make a call to my dad, I can't hear him but he can hear me. Then, when we hang up and he calls me, we can both hear each other fine.
When calling him I can hear the ring, but I feel like I remember usually hearing something like a click when the call would connect. Now instead the ringing just stops and it's silent.
Any ideas where to start? I'm on Verizon and he's on a different account Verizon prepaid.
I thought it might end been something about Wifi calling but it's still happening directly on 5G or 4G. The one thing now that I type that is i remember the SIM card having 4G on it but I have 5G service, would that be a branding thing or would the SIM card have actually been a limited 4G one where now the phone is trying to connect but not actually getting it?
