I seen this information over at Android Central but was going to wait before grabing but I thought about it and decided its best to grab it now before the price climbs, Ive been using Launcher Pro for lond I need a change anyway... Some reported a lag with this but so far it has been smooth as butter. Ill test it ovr the weekend and then decide which I will use.
I didnt see any screenshots, where did you post it?

And scroll down a little until you see the screenshots. The one on the left is the screenshot I'm referring to. You can see part of a calender placed at an angle in that shot.

Oh, I just glanced at page and didnt scroll down to see the screen shots... Hmmm not really sure which calendar that is..
I spent nearly an hour this afternoon searching for it, coming up empty-handed (and before the grandkids showed up!). I did email the developer, maybe we'll hear from him...
That explained it because I scanned the web a bit lastnight with no luck, found a few that looked close but not the same app....
Another thing I can say that the ADW Launcher EX does seem to perform better than the free version and I can see it growing on me. and the transitions are sooooo sick that Launcher Pro going have to come up with a upgrade soon but I have to admit I got use to LP+ widgets.

Yeah, for an old guy that values the practical side of hardware and software, I've really enjoyed playing with the slick transitions part. Hopefully the widgets will come along shortly.

I hope so, but until then I am glad that there is a number of apps on the market that is close to the widgets I am use to on LP+, after being in a computer field for almost 20 years I still appreciate a nice developed app and it appear this update is nice..
Pure Calender Grid widget has a large amount of themes, just click settings icon on left corner and on the bottom bar there is a opyion "Continue and Skin" and you can download and apply themes. Remember that you have to to press :Select" after "Install" to make new theme rhe default.
ok...you all sold me and i got this. it's pretty sweet. i've never used a third party launcher so i have some dumb questions.
can i no longer use the weather widget (that i loved) that was htc's stock widget? are the htc widgets specific to it's stock launcher? and if this is the case, can i not use my "favorites" contacts widget that i used to use? if i cant, can anyone recomend the best weather widget and a favorites contacts widget that could be downloaded (not an app)??
loving the ui, especially the 4d app drawer. and this really is smooth!!! also love the fact that my home screens can now go landscape (which i never could figure out why htc's could not???).
and how about an internet favorites widget? i must say, i really did like those two widgets with the stock launcher.
The HTC Sense widget is a after market widget on Droid X and if you are thinking of Beautiful Widget, that widget and others you asked about should work fine, you can add them the same way you do the stock launcher, press and hold and select from list.
thx all....i went ahead and got beautiful widgets. i felt a bit silly paying for a widget to make it look like htc sense (just for a simple weather widget), but this launcher is too sweet to go back to the stock htc launcher!!!!!
demmo86rt wrote:Beautiful widgets does have the combined clock and weather and some of the skins look very similar to HTC's widget. They also have an add on to enable the animations.
I have been staying with the first build of BW any havent used the new build because I really like the original weather, I am wondering what animation does the plug in add and where is it located to try?
Thank you, I may need to investigate further, I was hoping it added the flip andimation, I miss that... I know its pointless but it was so nice to have.
that's exactly what i was looking for. the live weather animation is what came stock with htc sense. BW (with the animation add on) weather is now almost identical to the stock htc widget. just wish it was live on the homescreen and you didn't have to tap to get it to go live. but i guess beggars can't be choosers...lol
i had done that, but don't care for the graphics and don't want it as my wallpaper. BW is close enough, just wish the screen it was on was already live and that you didn't have to open it to go live. thanks!!! but i stiiiillllll haven't found.....what i'm looking fooooorrrrrr!
The new versions are nice but I still cant give up the original build....
+ +
wildman....is the one on the right the X stock widget? i am LOVING adw launcher ex, but just not sold on the BW weather. the htc stock was animated on the home screen and i could add cities to it so if i swyped down it would toggle to the next city (swype up and toggle back). do you know if there's any way to do this with BW and also, were you able to load your stock widget while running adw launcher ex? i'd LOVE to figure out how to keep the launcher but use the htc stock widget.
thx demmo....home switcher works perfectly, and even has a version specific to froyo!!
Hey Demmo ADW has been updated Did u see
Yeah, I got it, I was using a "trial" version I had come across , I wanted to see what the improvements were over the original ADW were before paying for it. I do have to say, I did like it enough to pay for it and, because I would have to hunt down any updates when they came out, I picked it up through the market. My apps now slide in and out.
Looks like ADW and LLP are trying to go against each other, one get a new feature and a day or so the other has it too, ADW just released a new update that added custom docks now and also a few more options.... They are trying to make it difficult to pick between the two.
LLP has improved performance and ADW has been working on features.... Decisions, decisions..
