App update frozen

I have an app update that is frozen in the "installing" phase, can't get it to cancel downloading or anything. Tried turning off phone, tried taking out battery, can't figure out how to make it stop downloading. Doesn't show up in my apps list anymore either.

Any help is appreciated.

Try these steps to cancel the download.

Select market> menu>downloads>select app>cancel download

I had one do the same to me this last week. Redownload the app from the devs web site, or somewhere other than the market.

Once it is installed remove it from your phone and go to the market or where ever and put it in again.
