Hi everyone!!
I would like to purchase the PicSay Pro app, but it's not accepting my credit card. Any suggestions?
I enter my credit information but this is the message I get "A server error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen"
What does this mean?

Someone else was having this same issue! Person can't buy any apps because of that error message. Have you tried turning off the phone & taking the battery out? Using a different credit card maybe?

Calling tech support may be the best way to go
my brother is having the same issue. he tried calling vzn and emailing the app developer. they both said it was in issue with the google checkout process. unfortunately, you can't call google and they are awful at responding to email.
Finally started working again for me, just bought Power Control Plus without any problem.
Must have been a google problem.
if wanna save the hassel got to 4shared.com put in the name of the app you want download it for free to your pc and transfer to your phone even the paid apps are free here if they refuse to help take your money dont give it to them
I called tech support and they told me the work around was going on a computer to www.googlemarketplace.com. You create a profile there and save your credit card info. I did than then was able to go back and purchase the app on my phone right away. Hope this helps!

Yes, because cheating developers (most of whom are individuals doing this as a hobby) of the tiny bit of revenue they do get from selling apps is exactly the right way to encourage the development of great apps.
If you don't want to pay for apps, that's fine, download free apps and do without the premium features, you can certainly load up your phone entirely with free apps and be a very happy smartphone user. Don't steal though, there's absolutely no reason to.
I am having a problem buying the Screen Suite app. and I really need it. I went to Googlemarketplace.com and set up a profile but it didn't help. I still can't buy the app. Any more suggestions?
Someone else was having a problem just getting into the market place. It was an after effect of the 2.2 download. No fix that I know of if you already did the reset and battery. Maybe a factory reset would do the trick?
I had exactly the same issue -- tried to buy an app and got the frustrating message. I even sent Google a {word filter avoidance} message. Then after some trial & error I was able to set up my Google account on the PC first, THEN the phone automatically recognized my credit card, and the purchase went through. It was just a case of jumping through the hoops in the right order.
