Colornotes Notes Broken since 2.2 upgrade

Had 2.1 and Color notes worked well.

Did 2.2 upgrade and still worked well.

Was advised to do Factory Reset.

Did a Colornote backup to SD cardl. Created a simple 4digit password.

Did the Factory Reset

Could not restore from Colornote Backup

Uninstalled and Reinstalled Colornote

Redid notes from memory

Did a Backup -- Re-created the same 4digit password

Tested Restore function which failed. Rejecting the Password just created moments before

Is there a way to retreive the existing backups?

Is there a way to repair the Restore function/password?

This Resolved itself.

An Update rolled in and now Backup and Restore work.

Did you send an email to the developer of the application explaining the issue you are having?

Have not done that.

How would I go about doing that?

Do you have an email address for the developer?

Go to Market > press menu > downloads > scroll to the app > select it. Then scroll down in the description to the bottom. There is an option "send email to developer". This is standard practice for all the apps in the Google market.

I forgot to say that the steps to get to the description might be a little bit different with 2.2 since I am still using 2.1 on my phone. But it shouldn't be too much different.
