I have a new droid eris and am having a few issues with the phone.
1. It doesn't call who I select, but someone random.
2. It makes calls that I do not intend to make, ie it randomly calls people without my knowledge.
This is happening with both mine and my husbands phone.
Also is there a way to lock your phone with a short cut key.

Yes go in the market and in the search box type: Call Confirm
Download and install it will solve your problem.
To lock your phone press the Red highlighted silver end button on your lower right on your phone.
Does this app solve all the problems that I have noted.
