Droid as a remote control

Is there an app for using Droid as a remote control for Verizon FIOS cable box and/or a PS3?

It would be nice to have it, don't you think?

I know that there is one for the TiVo, however I'm not aware of one for a set top box or PS3, though I have to admit the concept is interesting.
