Facebook notifications/alerts on Droid

Hi all,

I just got my Droid yesterday, switching from the Blackberry Curve...I kind of miss my BB, but I'm getting used to the Droid, although the keyboard stinks!! Anyway, I'm used to on the BB that every time you get a message or post to FB the BB would give you an audible alert. I can't seem to find a way for the same thing on the Droid. If someone responds to something on FB does the Droid notify you?

Open the Facebook app, press the menu button, go to settings. You can set all the notifications and ringtone for FB

Actually I tried that...I set the ring tone for the notifications that I wanted and the only way I'm notified is through email...Am I doing something wrong or is it the phone?

I asked that same question a week ago. From what I was told, the facebook app doesnt sent notifications like the blackberry version does "yet". I had a storm and got all the notifications on the phone. Im sure a update will come out soon.
