Just got my first Droid. I love the separate ticker display but am baffled as to why GMAIL notifications do not appear on it. I read that email is supposed to appear on it but I'm darned if I can get it to.

To access Gmail notifications, you would need to customizing the Ticker Display. You can customize the Ticker Display by adding services sush as your Gmail account.
