You can try Verizon Messages and integrate the PC by downloading the app for the phone and the program for the PC. Or, use Pushbullet extension in Chrome and app on phone.
We have made checking your messages super easy for you, Llew9029. If you're using Message+ on your phone, you can log into www.vzw.com/verizonmessages and see your text through the web application or even download the app directly to your desktop.
